

This event will engage community members involved with the education of Black youth locally, including educators, families, and Black youth. During this gathering, kihana will engage with local scholars and organization leaders in a panel discussion about our current moment and what forward motion looks like. kihana miraya ross (Northwestern University) will build with folks about how anti-blackness is different from racism and why it’s helpful in the work we do with Black students and community members more broadly.
